PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device whose compensation life can be prolonged by significantly reducing degradation of the brightness as a whole device. SOLUTION: A panel of this plasma display is constituted by degradation of a phosphor so that the sizes of pixels are different in accordance with the magnitudes of their degradation of brightness, that is, display pixels (G: green pixels) 2> display pixels (B: blue pixels) 1> display pixels (R: red pixels) 3. In this case, the brightness of the display pixels (G: green pixels) 2 and the display pixels (B: blue pixels) 1 are reduced to adjust white balance when shipping, since the display pixels (G: green pixels) 2 and the display pixels (B blue pixels) 1 have larger areas than that of the display pixels (R: red pixels) 3. |
