PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make savable the widthwise space of a heater substrate, to make reducible a warp and deformation of the heater substrate, and to extend the life of a heater, in comparison with a configuration in which heat generating resistors are provided on the same heating face, by providing the heater substrate with two heat generating resistors and setting one on the side of a heating face and the other on the side of a non-heating face. SOLUTION: The heater is provided on its substrate 25 with two heat generating resistors, and the one heat generating resistor 22a is provided on the heating face of the heater substrate 25 and the other 22b is provided on the face of the heater substrate 25 opposite to it. Such a form in which the heater substrate 25 is sandwiched between the heat generating resistors 22a and 22b is taken, and a heater control system consists of one system. Because, in this form, the two heat generating resistors 22a and 22b are not exactly the same in heat generation efficiency, a temperature macula in the direction of the thickness of the heater substrate 25 is eliminated although vibration occurs on the side of the heating face and the side of the face opposite to the heating one. This almost eliminates a warp caused by difference in expansion coefficient due to difference in temperature between the heating face and non-heating face.
