PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of contact between extraction electrodes and probe electrodes of an liquid crystal product, and make it possible to adjust positions of the probe and the liquid crystal product by making a mechanism photograph an image of the extraction electrodes and the probe electrodes of the liquid crystal product when they are made contact with each other, and thus, detecting and correcting an misalignment between them. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal product inspection device for inspecting a lighting state by bringing the extraction electrodes of liquid crystal products 1b, 1c in contact with an external probe 26 and transmitting a signal from outside, this state detecting mechanism has a photographing means for obtaining an image of the contact part and a means for focusing an image of the contact part on this photographing means when making the electrodes of the liquid crystal products contact with the probe by shifting a liquid crystal holding mean for fixing the liquid crystal products or a probe holding means for fixing the probe, and corrects an misalignment by detecting the contact state between both parts from their alignment marks or the positions of the electrodes themselves.
