PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a balanced SAW device which has the function of an unbalanced input-balanced output type or a balanced input-unbalanced output type and has outside dimensions approximately equal to those of an incorporated SAW element and has less insertion loss. SOLUTION: A first dielectric layer 22 having <=30μm thickness whose principal surface two spiral lines a1 and a2 symmetrically formed with continuous strip lines are provided on and a second dielectric layer 23 having <=30μm thickness whose principal surface two spiral lines b1 and b2 which are correspond to spiral lines a1 and a2 respectively and are electromagnetically coupled them respectively are provided on are laminated on the rear face of a piezoelectric substrate to give the balanced-unbalanced conversion function.
