ACTIVE VIBRATION CONTROLLER OF VEHICLE BODY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce noise in a vehicle by controlling the vibration of a vehicle body panel over a wide frequency band. SOLUTION: An actuator 4 is provided to give vibration which negates the vibration of vehicle inside to a vehicle body panel 3. In order to obtain vibration that is to be given to the vehicle body panel 3, an H∞control and an adaptive forecasting control are used together. Displacement signals are used as error signals in the H∞control and acceleration signals are used as error signals in the adaptive forecasting control. Note that in the device, low frequency band vibration is controlled by conducting vibration control by the H∞control. Vibration control of high frequency band is conducted by executing the adaptive forecasting control.
