PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light head positioning mechanism, wherein the number of part items for a 2-stage actuator is small and a dimension in a disk axial direction is small. SOLUTION: This head positioning mechanism is provided with an access arm 2 attached to the main actuator 1 of a swinging type, a sub-actuator section 10 for causing head to follow-up on a target track, and a head supporting mechanism 3 connected to the sub-actuator section 10. In this case, the access arm 2, an actuator spring section 11 forming the sub-actuator section 10 and a head supporting mechanism holding section 10a are integrally formed by one metal plate. Bent portions are formed in both end parts of the width direction of the access arm 2 to provide rigidity to an arm.
