PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device having a developing roller with which good images free of defects are obtained. SOLUTION: A cleaning member (c) for removing an excess developer from a rotatable approximately columnar photoreceptor drum (a) for forming a latent image on its surface is disposed. The approximately columnar developing roller (b) which is approximately parallel in the axial direction with the photoreceptor drum (a) and of which outer peripheral surface comes into contact therewith is freely rotatably disposed. A member prepared by mixing a fluoride resin with a silicone resin is formed to an approximately laminar form on at least the outer peripheral surface of a metallic roller body, by which the developing roller (b) is constituted. The fluoride resin preferably contains >=10 to <=20 wt.% tetrafluororesin which is a water-soluble fluororesin. The deposition of a siloxane oligomer form the developing roller (b) may be prevented and the adhesion of the siloxane oligomer to the photoreceptor drum (a) may be prevented. The good image free of the defects in the image is obtained, the performance of image quality improved and the reliability improved. |
