PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate a data collection/distribution system by avoiding 'data destruction' and 'unclear transmission error' caused by a difference in a processing method. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a host computer 1 and plural terminal equipment 2-1 and 2-2 connected with the host computer 1 through a communication line 3 and data transmission/reception processing parts 7 and 20 are provided for respectively processing data transmission and data reception. On the side of data transmission inside the host computer 1 and the plural terminal equipment 2-1 and 2-2, a version level is checked for judging whether the data exchange of the data transmission/reception processing part is suitable or not before data transmission and only when the data exchange is judged suitable, data transmission is started.
