PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the operation for placing a part feeder mount to a part feed position and the operation for selecting one electronic part feeder designated among electronic part feeders disposed on the mount. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprising a plurality of part feeder mounts 30a, 30b having the respective electronic parts feeders 40a, 40b, stores in an electronic part information memory the arrangement of the part feeders 40a, 40b on the mounts 30a, 30b and the kinds of electronic parts that the part feeders 40a, 40b stock, retrieves information in this memory to find the feeder mount 30a, 30b that mounts the part feeder which stocks electronic parts to be next mounted, together with the mounting position on this feeder mount, selects the feeder mount 30a, 30b and the part feeder 40a, 40b, based on the retrieval result, moves and positions the selected feeder mount to a part feed position. |
