PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an automatic accompaniment device which guides a chord playing operation. SOLUTION: A chord to be accompanied is read from an accompaniment pattern storing means 6 in synchronism with a specified tempo and a playing operation that specifies the chord is guided. For example, in a simple chord system, in which a kind of a chord is specified by the number of keys simultaneously pressed and a lowest sound in the pressed keys is specified as a root (a root sound), the chord kind of the chord read from the means 6 is discriminated, light emitting colors are made different for the root and other keys to be pressed based on the discriminated chord kind so that a chord playing is press key guided visually. |
