PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a winder, in which the winding start part of an element wire can be securely retained by a winding frame. SOLUTION: A 1st main shaft 24 and a 2nd main shaft 26, which rotate synchronously on the same axial line, support a winding frame 28 and a gripper 60. On the way of the winding start part on the winding frame 28, a wedge opening 52 is formed as a gripping gap. The gripper 60 is pushed into the gripping gap. Wedge planes are provided on both the sides of the gripper 60 and the winding frame 28. The gripper 60 firmly presses the element wire to the winding frame through wedge action. The element wire can be surely retained by the winding frame and hence the slippage of the element wire and defective forms and film damages which are caused by the slippage can be avoided, so that productivity is improved.
