PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk driving device capable of effectively absorbing shocks applied to an optical pickup main body or the like by a simple structure without providing any new members. SOLUTION: This disk driving device is provided with a support 2c supporting an optical head and moving in a disk radial direction, a screw shaft 7 for moving the support, an engaging portion 8d provided between the support and the screw shaft 7, as a fixed part with one end thereof fixed to the support and the other end engaged with the screw shaft 7 to move the support, and an engaging member 8 having elasticity for pressing the engaging part 8d to the screw shaft 7 side, an abutting portion 8c for abutment with the support is extended to the engaging part 8d of the engaging member 8, and the abutting portion 8c is abutted on the support when engagement between the engaging part 8d of the engaging member 8 and the screw shaft 7 side is released.
