SOLUTION: When a lighting detecting means 6 detects a lighting state in standing lower than a specified level to lights out or normal lighting of a high-pressure discharge lamp 4 in a state in which a second power source 8 is inputted, a control circuit 7 acting as a control means closes a relay contact Ry-a which acts as a switching element to light a halogen lamp 9 which acts as a light compensating light source, and when normal lighting of the high pressure discharge lamp 4 is detected, opens the relay contact Ry-a to put out the halogen lamp 9. As a result, since the normal lighting of the high pressure discharge lamp 4 and simultaneous lighting of the halogen lamp 9 are avoided, break of these lamps is prevented.</p> |
