PRODUCTION OF FIBER GRATING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber grating having both of transmission characteristics and mechanical strength without inhibiting improvement in the productivity. SOLUTION: A thick coating layer 4 of 37.5μm film thickness is formed by a single coating method using a UV ray transmission type UV-curing resin on an optical fiber wire 1' consisting of a core and a clad. The coating layer 4 is cured by irradiating the resin with UV rays. The adhesion strength of the coating layer 4 to the glass part is not decreased even when high pressure hydrogen packing is performed so as to improve the photosensitivity.
