PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a part connecting a cleaning means and a waste-toner container together from being broken by a work done by a user, etc. by making an operation part, which is operated to release the lock of an image-carrier unit by a locking means, unoperatable in a condition where the waste-toner container is attached to a device main body and connected to the cleaning means. SOLUTION: A lock release lever 371 as an operation part, which is operated to release the lock of an image-carrier unit TU by a locking means, cannot be operated in a condition where a waste-toner container 500 is attached to a device main body and connected to a cleaning means, and therefore cannot release the lock. That is, the lock of the image-carrier unit TU cannot be released by the operation of the operation part 371. The restriction of the lock release lever 371 by the waste-toner bottle 500 is released by opening a front cover and removing the waste-toner bottle 500, and this makes it possible to turn the lock release lever 371. |
