PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech input system which is in no danger of decrease in the speech recognition rate and capable of keeping practicality enough when the speech input system is applied to a communication system with a wireless line. SOLUTION: A mobile station 1 is provided with a speech recognition part 10, and from the mobile station 1 side to a base station 2 side, a speech is not transmitted as it is, but transmitted as information of the result speech- recognized by the speech recognition part 10. Thus, such a danger as frequency band restriction, etc., by a wireless line between the mobile station 1 and the base station 2 and as influence on a transmission characteristic peculiar to a radio transmission system is decreased so that the system can maintain a high speech recognition rate. |
