PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, rapidly and exactly connect an optical fiber and a photoelectric component. SOLUTION: A reflection surface F1 generally inclined with a main propagation route T1 of light radiation of the fiber is made at the specific and arbitrary optical fiber F and a separate propagation route T2 generally deflected with respect to the main propagation route T1 is made by reflection. A groove is made along the outside surface 2a of a mounting supporter 2 common to the optical fiber F and the associated photoelectric component O to securely house the optical fiber F therein. The groove 3 is covered by a thin layer cover which allows the transmission of radiation and has a flat surface 4a. The fiber F is inserted into the groove in such a manner that the deflected propagation route T2 passes a cover 4 consisting of radiation permeable material. The photoelectric component O is aligned to the deflected propagation route T2 and is mounted on the cover 4.
