PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably form a short flame on the surface of a surface combustion plate even when a heating power is made greater. SOLUTION: A mixed gas chamber 71 is divided into a plurality of small chambers 73 and a mixed gas supplying plate 49, on the front surface of which a multitude of through holes 51 are formed, is provided at the front surfaces of respective chambers, further, a surface combustion plate 75, equipped with a multitude of fine combustion holes not shown in a diagram, is provided at the fore side of the mixed gas supplying plate 49 while each one piece of branching tube 69 is connected to respective small chambers 73 to supply the mixed gas 65 of fuel and air to the small chambers 73, the back surface of the surface combustion plate 75 and the surface of the same sequentially and burn the mixed gas on the surface of the surface combustion plate 75.
