METHOD FOR FORMING PHOSPHOR SCREEN FOR PLASMA DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a phosphor layer of a back surface piate of a plasma display panel(PDP) and a method for forming a PDP back surface plate of a fine pitch. SOLUTION: Phosphor paste 7 is discharged from an opening, is filled in a cell partitioned with a barrier plate 8, and is dried and burned. Materials except for a phosphor are eliminated to form a phosphor layer of a PDP. A high voltage pulse is applied to control a shape of the phosphor paste 7 and conduct stabIe filling operations.
