DIGITAL COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital communication method by which an information quantity that is a bit number or over is transmitted/received even in the case that only a limited bit number can periodically be sent/received. SOLUTION: This communication method is a digital communication method between a transmitter that transmits an ON-signal in at least one-bit as a prescribed bit signal for each period 1 being a 1st period and a receiver that recognizes 1st information to be 1st contents in the case of detecting the prescribed bit signal and recognizes the 1st information to be 2nd contents when the receiver cannot detect the prescribed bit signal. In this method, 2nd information different from the 1st information is sent/received by adopting a period 3 consisting of a plurality of periods 1 and a pause period and utilizing consecutive numbers of the 1st information denoting the 1st contents or consecutive numbers of the 1st information denoting the 2nd contents in the period 3 existing between the pause periods.
