PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a color temperature of a picture to obtain an output picture providing a desired impression. SOLUTION: In the image processing method, a digital camera 1 acquires picture data S0 whose white balance is adjusted as if an object were photographed at a prescribed color temperature (e.g. 6500 deg.K), and records the data to a recording medium 2. A color temperature setting means 7 of a lab 3 sets a color temperature T on the basis of designation information H denoting an output desired color temperature by a user with respect to the picture data S0, a color temperature revision means 8 changes the color temperature of the picture data S0 on the basis of the color temperature T to obtain revised picture data S1. A color conversion means 9 applies color conversion to the revised picture data S1 in response to a characteristic of an output means 10 to obtain output picture data S2. The output means 10 prints out the output picture data S2.
