PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a connection and communication meeting the needs of a user without manually selecting the connection destination by selecting communication speed priority or of charge priority as the selection condition of the connection destination of the user. SOLUTION: This data communication equipment utilizes dial-up and is provided with an information acquiring means 13 for acquiring communication information, an information storage means 14 for storing that communication information, a charging information storage means 15 for storing charging information, a determining means 16 for determining the connection destination from the communication information and the charging information, a dial information preparing part 17 and a dial information sending part 18 for preparing and sending dial information from the information determined by the determining means 16 and when data communication can be performed with one port through plural routes, the data communication is performed by selecting a route while referring to the communication information in the past.
