SELF-CORRECTION ANGLE DETECTOR AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING DETECTION ACCURACY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle detector requiring no highly precise reference detector and to correct accuracy of angle conveniently with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A common machine shaft is fixed with first and second angle detectors 1, 2 and the fixing position of the second angle detector 2 with respect to the first angle detector 1 is shifted relatively by a specified angle at a time thus determining a plurality of relative fixing angle positions. Angle detection data of the first and second angle detectors 1, 2 is then determined at all rotary positions of the machine shaft for each position thus determined and error value concerning to each angle detection data of the first angle detector 1 is calculated based on the difference of respective angle detection data. Current angle detection data outputted from the first angle detector 1 depending on the current rotary positions of the machine shaft is corrected using the error value determined for the current angle detection data.
