PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubidium atom oscillator in which deterioration of frequency stability can be suppressed, even if a rubidium lamp is miniaturized and quantity of light is decreased. SOLUTION: Since a light reflecting part 2 is provided to an inner wall part of a cavity 1 containing a rubidium gas cell 5, an incident rubidium lamp light 7 is reflected and passes through the rubidium gas cell 5 several times, so that the quantity of the incident rubidium lamp light 7 is apparently increased. Thereby the decrease in the quantity of light absorbed by rubidium atoms in the rubidium gas cell 5 is prevented, and deterioration of frequency stability of the rubidium lamp light reaching a photodetecting element 6 is suppressed, and further the incident rubidium lamp light 7 is utilized with high efficiency.
