PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller by which the occurrence of an afterimage is prevented. SOLUTION: The developing roller 4 possesses a magnet roller and a sleeve 6 freely rotatable at its outer periphery. The magnetic pole of the magnet roller 5 is constituted of a developing pole N1, a carrying pole S1, a draw-up pole N2 and the carrying pole S2. The draw-up pole N2(N2-1 and N2-2) is constituted of two repulsing magnetic poles N2-1 and N2-2. |
