PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the interruption of the reproduction of a signal even in the case of fast forwarding by allowing a 2nd signal reproducing means to start fast forward and reproduce a program and output it as an output signal when the address of a program reproduced by a 1st reproducing means matches the address of a signal that the 2nd reproducing means can reproduce. SOLUTION: Denoting as tN the time that the 1st reproducing means 101 requires from the start to the completion of fast-forwarding reproduction until an address is attached and as tM the time that the 2nd reproducing means 104 requires from the end of access to the start of fast-forwarding reproduction of a signal with the attached address, the 1st reproducing means 101 is so controlled as to fast forward and reproduce a program when tM<=tN holds, and the 2nd signal reproducing means 104 starts fast forwarding and reproducing a program and outputs it as an output signal when the address of the signal of the program reproduced by the 1st reproducing means 101 reproduces matches the address of a signal that the 2nd signal reproducing means 104 can reproduce.
