PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the issue of wrong cards by reading the cards issued by an embossed card issue means by a reader means, sending the read cards to an external device to confirm the usability of the embossed cards and then issuing the cards as long as they are usable. SOLUTION: A center terminal 8 issues a contract document via a print 2 if it's accepted, sends the emboss data to an embossed part 7 via a communication control part 4 and writes the emboss/magnetic data on a new card to issue the card. A user inserts an issued temporary card into a card reader/issue part 6. An entire image of the card whose magnetic data are correctly written is read by a camera mechanism 3. Then the 'card usable' data are written to the magnetic data on the inserted card by an instruction of the terminal 8 and the card is returned to the user when the emboss contents are correct and the contents of the emboss data are coincident with the contents of the transmitting data. |
