PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide text input system/method which can easily input a text at any time and at any place by means of displaying the correspondence of the combination of respective fingers and input codes so that a user can easily view, and to provide a storage medium. SOLUTION: The text input system has a finger operation detection part 1 detecting the operations of respective fingers and outputting signals peculiar to the respective fingers, a signal analysis part 24 analyzing the output signal of the finger operation detection part 1 and generating a code containing a code required for the compilation of a Japanese text, a text compilation processing part 25 inputting the code generated in the signal analysis part 24 and compiling the text, a head mount display 3 displaying the text and information required for text-compilation and CPU 21 displaying the correspondence of the combination of the respective fingers and the input codes on the head mount display 3.
