<p>The security sealed cap for an LPG container comprises a cylindrical plastics body, open in its lower part and with a closed upper wall. The body side wall has an internal circumferential seal (10) with a rounded triangular section. It is placed at a height corresponding to the position of a groove in the container valve and takes the balls of a reducer. The lower edge of the body has an external perimetric rib (6) of reduced width. The body side wall has an opening which extends from the side wall lower edge to a predetermined height, above the sealing strip, this being interrupted in an extension corresponding to the opening width. A tab (9) is connected by one of its edges to the body by small slides. There are several ribs regularly divided around the lower ring. They have an initial rupture section (16) which parts from the tab to spread along a helicoidal path in the body surface towards the upper end.</p> |
