<p>A joint material which can easily be set in a joint groove disposed between adjacent wall surface external facing materials of a building and requiring a watertightness. A joint base material (6) is provided continuously from and integrally with the surface of a synthetic resin joint joiner (4) disposed between wall surface external facing materials (A). The joint base material (6) has right and left side plates (12) between which a sealing material (8) is filled, two soft seal lugs (14a, 14b) projecting from the outer surface of each of the side plates with the free ends thereof contacting the end face of a wall surface external facing material, and a large number of holes (16) made between the seal lugs. A core material (10) to be pressed into between the side plates (12) of the joint base material is formed by connecting a core part (10A) for forcing out the sealing material (8) through the holes by being pressed into between the side plates (12) with the flange plate of a head part (10B) covering a joint groove mouth. The length of the core part (10A) is such that the core part is short of the bottom of a sealing material filled region (S3) between the side plates (12) when it is pressed.</p> |
