<p>Properties of thermoset plastic and viscoelastic materials are measured by application of shearing force to obtain torque measurements. The present invention includes a test instrument die cavity sample release inhibiting seal member (100). Seal member (100) includes a sufficient even when pressurized die cavity retained sample maintaining opening (102). Seal member (100) has an inner diameter (ID1) and an outer diameter (OD1). The sample release inhibition prevents unwanted external to the die cavity component contact that could distort or invalidate torque measurement.</p> |
