Device comprises current sources (B, C) for production of two constant currents of the same size, but opposite polarity. The constant currents are applied to the body via measurement and earth electrodes (101,104). To determine the bio- electric potential difference and resistance the potential difference is measured for both positive and negative current and then the bio- electric value determined.
