Described herein are mixtures of beta -hydroxyalkyl amides, particularly suitable for being used as cross-linking agents in the field of powder paints, and more in particular as cross-linking agents for painting compositions in which the binding mixture consists of polyester resins having free carboxyl groups. Also described are powder paints that contain the said cross-linking mixtures, and the process for their preparation.
