The cap which screws onto a filler pipe has an inner closure body (1) and a cap body (2) mounted to rotate on the closure body about an angle against the force of a resetting spring (3) designed as a tension/compression spring which is mounted between the closure body and cap so that its longitudinal axis lies in the plane arranged at an angle to and dissecting the rotary axis (D) of the cap body.
