The aim of the invention is to improve a compressor comprising a spiral compressor, which has a first compressor body and a second compressor body, an actuating device equipped with a motor, and a driving unit, which contains a driver that rotates on a driver path and a driver seat arranged on the second compressor body, whereby the driver seat can move in a radial direction relative to the center axis, with a radial degree of freedom with regard to the driver. In order to improve a compressor of this type such that it can be produced as easily as possible and such that it functions in a most reliable manner, the invention provides that the driver comprises a driver surface which is curved in a direction perpendicular to the center axis and which is convex in a direction of rotation. In addition, the invention provides that the driver seat is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner with regard to the second compressor body and comprises a driver surface which surrounds the driver in an annular manner and upon which the driver surface acts by applying force only in a rotating partial section. Additionally, a space is provided between the driver and the driver surface outside the partial section upon which force is applied.
