An information display system comprises a wireless transmitter unit (3, 5) f or transmitting information about articles as wireless signals and an informati on display unit (2) provided detachably on a showcase for receiving the information transmitted as wireless signals from the wireless transmitter un it (3, 5) to present information about articles. Especially, this information display system includes a monitor unit (55, 56) for observing the displaceme nt of the information display unit (2).
