The fastener (10), to mount two component sections (12,14) together, has a mounting (22) at one section (12) which fits into a groove (18) at the other section (14). The mounting (22) has two clamping surfaces (40) where two supports (50) are laid on them. The supports (50) and the connector (22) are locked in place by a clamping unit (56), and the first component section (12) is pulled towards the side surface (20) of the second component section (14). The connector (22) has a further section (34) with an opening (54) which holds the clamping unit (56) securely in a loose radial alignment.
