QUICKLY DISINTEGRATING TABLETS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
摘要
Quickly disintegrating tablets which are obtained by surface-modifying a powder to be surface-modified, which comprises a drug ingredient optionally together with a diluent, with light anhydrous silicic acid to give a drug-containing and surface-modified powder which has an improved fluidity and can be directly tabletted; then mixing the obtained powder with a filler containing partially gelatinized starch or crospovidone; and directly tabletting the mixture. By using the multi-layer surface modification method wherein the above-described surface-modification is combined with dry-coating by using titanium oxide (average particle size: 3 mu m or less) and erythritol, quickly disintegrating tablets can be produced without causing any tabletting troubles which are observed in case of using low-melting drug ingredients or highly viscous drug ingredients. Also, it becomes possible thereby to obtain quickly disintegrating tablets having an improved taste in case of using bitter or irritating drug ingredients.
