SUBSTANCE: key problem in processes of production of unsaturated rubbers, including butyl rubber, is choice of antioxidants and utilization thereof in rubber production process to produce colorless, storage- and processing-stable rubber. This task is solved by stabilizing butyl rubber in suspension, for which, stabilizer, in particular (2-4): 1 mixture of 2,2'-metylene-bis(4- vethyl-6-tert-butylphenol) and tri(3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphite, is introduced into vacuum degassing stage, more particularly into pipeline over which aqueous rubber crumb suspension is supplied, in the form of 1.5-2% aqueous suspension in amounts 0.5 to 1.5 kg per 1 t of rubber, provided that particle size of antioxidant mixture ranges from 6 to 15 mcm.
