<p>The object of the invention is an external wall block and practical use thereof in the construction of the heated dwelling houses, public and industrial buildings. The block is characterised in that it has an asymmetric, in regard to the longitudinal axis of the wall, horizontal section. It contains an internal vertical slab made of the load-bearing material, e.g., concrete, and an external facing slab (see fig.1). Between the two slabs a heat-insulating material is located. The essence of the invention is the following: the internal load-bearing slab has three counterforts in the heat-insulating layer being directed inside thereof perpendicularly to its surface. One counterfort is located in the middle and two other - at the ends of the block. The thickness of the middle counterfort can be twice of the thickness of these located at the ends of the block. The ends of the counterforts are connected with the facing slab by the anchors passed through the heat-insulation layer, and the anchors are working under the tensile and/or shear forces. The anchors could be made of a material with lower heat conductivity as the load-bearing parts of the block.</p> |
