The information board (1) has text panels (2 to 6) giving a variety of information. Each text panel has a symbol (6 to 9) in a corner. The symbol may a number, alphabetic character or a pictogram. Elsewhere on the board are holders (10, 11) for cards or pamphlets (16 to 19). Alongside each stack of cards or pamphlets is a symbol (12 to 15) which is complementary to one of the symbols on the text panels.
