<p>The composition consists of at least one acrylic polymer obtained from alpha , beta -ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, unsaturated non-surfactant monomer and non-ionic urethane monomer. The composition comprises, in physiologically acceptable medium, oil phase dispersed in aqueous medium and containing at least one acrylic polymer A obtained from alpha , beta -ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid (a), ethylenically unsaturated non-surfactant monomer different from the latter (b), and non-ionic urethane monomer (c) obtained in result of reaction between monohydric amphiphilic non-ionic compound (c1) and mono-ethylenically unsaturated isocyanate (c2). Oil phase preferably represents 1-80 (especially 1-60) wt.% per total wt. of composition, which preferably contains at least one volatile silicone oil, has pH 6.5-8, contains no surfactants, and contains 0.01-3 wt.% (per active matter) of terpolymer A. Independent claims are also included for (1) the use of a composition as claimed for the treatment, protection, nourishing, make-up removing and/or cleansing of skin, lips and/or hair, and/or for make-up of skin and/or lips, and also for the preparation of a nourishing composition for the treatment of dry skin and/or lips; and (2) the cosmetic treatment of skin, hair and/or lips, by application of the composition as claimed.</p> |
