railway transport; prevention of collision of motor vehicles and trains. SUBSTANCE: device has cover made of rolled section with solid sheet placed on sections. Cover is installed on base across motor road flush with its pavement. Base is placed on foundation. Counterweight installed at one side of drive shaft is connected with barrier member drive by means of tie-rod. Drive shaft is installed on base bearing support and is covered by solid sheet from top. Removable bracket of cover is installed from other side of shaft. Slider-tyre friction shock absorber is provided to adjust braking of counterweight. Edges of sheets forming barrier member surface are cut in parallel to each other tangentially to trajectory of cover edge turning and are mated to provide lifting of cover. Brackets are welded to cover for fastening the joints whose axis of rotation is brought out beyond the outline of cover solid sheet. Such design precludes getting of dirt and foreign matter inside the device. EFFECT: facilitated operation, increased service life. 3 cl, 5 dwg
