PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cleaning sheet excellent in capture and holding characteristics of various sizes and shapes of refuse. SOLUTION: A cleaning sheet 1 is formed by joining long fiber aggregates (opening tow) 3 opened and arranged in parallel intermittently in the direction of flow of the fibers to at least one surface of a base material sheet 2. The long fiber aggregates 3 have non-joined fiber areas 5 which are not joined to the base material sheet 2. The fibers of the non-joined fiber areas 5 have a degree of freedom of fibers so that fibrous or three-dimensional dust is taken up by the fibers winch are not joined to the sheet and the taken-up dust can be held between the clearances of the component fibers. The long fiber aggregates 3 are joined together by a plurality of joining lines 4 extending in the direction traversing the direction of fibers and the non-joined areas 5 are located between the joining lines 4.
