PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue paper housing box which is constituted of only paper without using a conventional plastic film for its opening part with performance capable of continuously and smoothly pulling out tissue paper housed inside and can be efficiently recovered and recycled without removing the plastic film. SOLUTION: The center part of one surface of a rectangular box 1 made of paper is previously worked in such a way that a strip-shaped part of the paper box 1 can be removed. Parts of the paper box 1 as sleeve parts 5 on both sides in parallel with the long sides of the strip-shaped part are worked so that they can be folded into strips and opened as double doors, and a lubricant is applied at least to the back parts of the sleeve parts 5.
