PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal abrasion of a liquid seal between a piston and a dispensing cylinder and prolong the life. SOLUTION: This apparatus for dispensing ices comprises a dispensing cylinder 20 attached in the vertical direction to the back surface of a heat insulting door 13 and a lid 28 mounted to cover an opening of a pack housing chamber 22 for housing a cartridge pack 30 for an ice cream. A pressure chamber 23 under a piston 50 is designed to be forcibly fed with brine. When a pressure chamber 57 of the piston 50 is forcibly fed with the brine, the piston 50 is raised to compress the cartridge pack 30. The outer periphery of the piston 50 is provided with a seal ring 55 and a dust seal 56 and a lip part 56B extending to the side of the pack housing chamber 22 is installed in the dust seal 56. Even if there are foreign materials sticking to the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder 20, the foreign materials are scraped off from the inner wall of the cylinder 20 with the dust seal 56 to surely prevent the foreign materials from entering the side of the seal ring 55.
