PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the skew of a sheet and the positional dislocation of a printing position in a cross direction by means of a simple and inexpensive structure by extending a carrier path for the sheet on a sheet conveying part for double-faced printing disposed on the outside of a printer having the constraint of the printer body. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a second pair of carrier rollers 16a for bringing into parallel-contact with the front end of the sheet passing through the roller of a first pair of carrier rollers 16b. A sheet regulating guide part 14a is mounted between a first and second carrier roller pairs 16a and 16b, and the peripheral speed of the first pair of carrier rollers 16b is set so as to be slightly faster than that of the second pair of carrier rollers 16a to saggingly-convey the sheet. It is thus possible to conduct printing on one side surface of the sheet whose other side is printed so as not to be tilted, thereby attaining high printing accuracy in double-faced printing.
