PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a tube member from getting caught by chalking pins by arranging the chalking pins on inner peripheral surface at 90 deg. intervals to insert a curving operation wire into this chalking pin and by providing a positional restriction member in a gap between the chalking pins. SOLUTION: A curving part of an endoscope is constituted by coupling a plurality of adjusting rings 40, 40... with chalking pins 42, 42.... The chalking pins are provided at 90 deg. intervals, and guide holes 42A for inserting operation wires are bored in the ends thereof. Further, in the inner side of the curving part, a positional restriction member 54 is provided in a gap between the chalking pins 42, 42. By this constitution, a forceps tube 44 is abuts against the positional restriction member 54 and is protected from getting caught by the chalking pins 42, 42.
