PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably restore a clutch operating piston member even if the outer end of the clutch operating piston member is radially deformed caused by the repeated contact to a stopper member. SOLUTION: An annular release groove 19 for avoiding the contact of the outer periphery of the outer end surface of a clutch release piston member 12 and a contact surface 17a of a stopper member 17 is formed on the clutch release piston member 12. Therefore, even if the outer end of the clutch release piston 12 is radially deformed caused by the repeated contact of the outer end surface of the clutch release piston member 12 with the contact surface of the stopper member 17, interference is not generated between the outer end of the clutch release piston member 12 and a cylinder member 11 as long as the radial outward deformation amount does not exceed the radial dimension of the release groove 19, and the clutch release piston member 12 is reliably restored.
