PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device capable of preventing a foreign matter from being caught between a reed part and a valve plate of a flapper valve and suppressing the vibration of the reed part of the flapper valve. SOLUTION: In a valve device including a valve plate 71 having a valve mounting part 71b and a port 71d and a flapper valve 73 having a fixed part 73a fixed on the valve mounting part 71b and a reed part 73b which is continuously provided in the fixed part 73a so as to oscillate freely and opens and closes the port 71d, a non-contact region with the reed part 73b is formed by forming a part opposing to at least the reed part 73b of the valve plate 71 as a recessed part 71e except the valve mounting part 71b, and a peripheral part of the port 71d is made cylindrical in the non-contact region to form a valve receive part 71f in contact with the reed part 73b in the valve plate 71. Furthermore, an intermediate valve receive part 71g in contact with the reed part 73b is formed between the valve mounting part 71b and the valve receive part 71f in the valve plate 71.
